Privacy Policy

PromptEngine (https://prompt.navapilot.com) is operated by NavaPilot ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use PromptEngine, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. If you sign in with an email link, we store your email address. If you use PromptEngine as a guest, we create an anonymous account identifier stored in your browser.
- Content you provide. The requests you type, your answers to clarification questions, custom "Other" answers, the prompts we generate for you, and any edits, saves or ratings you make.
- Usage events. Actions such as submitting a request, answering a question, copying or saving a prompt, and timing information (for example how long a question took to answer).
- Technical information. IP address (used for rate limiting and abuse prevention), browser type, and error reports.
We do not access your Google contacts, files, email or any Google data beyond your basic profile (name, email, picture).
How we use information
- To provide the service: analyse your request, ask clarification questions, and generate prompts.
- To save your conversations and preferences so you can return to them.
- To improve PromptEngine: we analyse how requests, questions, answers and generated prompts perform (for example which prompts are copied or edited) to improve question selection and prompt quality.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix errors.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Service providers
We share information only with providers that help us run PromptEngine:
- OpenAI (and, if configured, Google Gemini or Anthropic): your request, answers and the resulting requirements are sent to an AI model to generate questions and prompts.
- Supabase: database and authentication (data stored in Singapore).
- Vercel: hosting.
- Sentry: error monitoring.
- Google: sign-in, if you choose "Continue with Google".
Please do not enter passwords, financial details, health information or other sensitive personal data into your requests.
Retention and deletion
We keep your conversations until you delete them. You can delete any conversation from the sidebar at any time. To delete your account and associated data, email us at founder.navapilot@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, and we will delete it within 30 days. Guest sessions that are never signed in may be removed after a period of inactivity.
Cookies and local storage
We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your theme. If product analytics are enabled, they are used only to understand how PromptEngine is used.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to your data in our database is restricted so that each account can only access its own records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
PromptEngine is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
